It was the weekend after my 21st birthday, and I went to Disc-Cover Records in Nampa, Idaho, in search of a record player. I was looking for a system that would include speakers to make it more convenient to purchase all at once. I was lucky to come across a Crosley C62 Record Player; it had the speakers included and a Bluetooth setting. However, when it came to the price, it was a little bit out of my initial price range, being that it was $399.99 at the time. I was debating right there and then if I were going to make this hefty purchase, but I couldn't resist since it had the ideal features I wanted.

Since I decided to go through with this purchase, I wasn't looking forward to holding this heavy compact box back to my place. Before heading to check out, I still needed to choose my first vinyl to play, and I wasted no time choosing my favorite group. I chose the vinyl album Devotion by Beach House. Finishing with checked out, I went home to set up this record player, and to my surprise, it was easier than I thought it would be, especially when connecting the speakers. As I finished the last touches, I set the needle to play, and I was off listening to my favorite songs.
